A health care executive for thirty years, he has had articles published by the American Geriatric Society and spoken on a variety of topics for the American College of Health Care Administrators and the New England Not-for-Profit Providers Conferences and the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.

He is certified by Walden University as an Online Instructor and by Langevin Learning Services as an Instructional Designer/Developer and Master Trainer An active member of the American Society of Training and Development, he is also rated a Platinum Expert for www.EzineArticles.com. He has written a number of online courses and served as a preceptor for aspiring Health Care Administrators from George Washington and Johnson & Wales Universities. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Stonehill College

Committed to personal lifetime learning, his move to leadership training was the result of his success developing the growth of new supervisors and managers into positions of greater responsibility and his conviction that it is essential to develop and nurture leaders within an organization to ensure its continued success and growth.

Mr. Strong is served as the Leadership Development Specialist for the city of Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he designs the leadership, management and supervisory training for the city’s 8,000 employees.

 He is the author of two books; “How to select a nursing home” and “Leadership is a choice “published by Tate Publishing Company.

 He is currently the Executive Director of Glenwood Continuing Care Retirement Community in Marietta, Ohio
